Throwing is a technical sport. People often assume that being strong and/or massive is the only thing needed to be successful in the throws. This is not the case, however. While size and strength may be beneficial to throwers, to be successful, a thrower must be a true technician of the sport. In order to become proficient at throwing technique, there is a progression of drills and skills to master. Below you will find links to videos demonstrating each of the steps in the progression for success in the discus.
